We looking for a Senior SQL Database Administrator who will be responsible for providing technical support for SQL Server environments. Responsibilities will include installation, configuration, and upgrades of the database environments. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provide Database Administration by Installing, configuring, maintaining SQL Servers and its related products
• Configure and maintain all the components of MS SQL (Core DB engine and SSRS, SSAS, SSIS)
• Configure and maintain Replication topologies, Log Shipping, Database Snapshots, Database Mirroring, clustering, and Always On.
• Provide 24x7 support as per on-call rotation schedule; and perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
• Performance database tuning including both query and server optimization
• Creates automation scripts to perform repetitive tasks and to ensure high data integrity
Experience in the following technologies are key to this role:
• SQL 2008 R2, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019
• SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
• SQL Server Clustering, Always ON, Replication, Mirroring, Log shipping
• TDE, SSL/TLS
• Windows / VMWare Virtualization
• SQL/PowerShell Scripting
• Microsoft Azure Cloud
• DevOps, CI/CD Pipeline, VS Code, GIT
• SQL Server Backup and Recovery
• SQL Server Upgrades and Migrations
• SQL Sentry/ Grafana/ Nagios/ ServiceNow/ Splunk
